Two Odd Occurrences with the iphone update

When I type a password, it only obscures with *'s after about a few seconds. Before that, the password is visible.

Also just randomly, when the device was not connected to anything, I got a message that the accessory was not approved for use with the iphone and did I want to go into airplane mode. Strange, but even stranger, at that moment somehow the hone took a perfect picture of itself-the time, the number of messages, all the icons. Has anyone ever had that happen?

If you hold down the home button, and tap the sleep/wake button it takes a screen shot...

Could you have accidentally done that?

I had no idea! I just tested that and it worked, But, I don't think I could have done that when it got its error message.
