i have a 6 plus and my wife has a 6 when i tried to back her phone up on the computer it wants to treat it like a new phone and it has the same name as mine. What can i do?

Yeah. That's the way most folks handle it. Kids, dogs, phones...different names.

This made me laugh.

I do tend to name my iPad iPhone and iPods the same. I have noticed iTunes automatically puts a number in perentaces after the name. But I have never had two iPhones with the same name. I would have guessed it would have done something similar. So I yes if it is giving you problems just change the name or add a number after the name.

I'll try that. I didn't even give them names thats just what happened some how.
