I have two printers that have taken storage duties... trying to get rid of or repurpose them. One is an ooooold school HP Laskerjet 4L, still works to my knowledge. The other is a Canon Pixma MX850, but this one is broken.... not really sure what's wrong with it but I think the printing mechanism is off track. Could be an easy fix, not sure.

Are these worth anything? Chuck them or ebay or ...?

If you print a lot of print only and/or b/w pages, I'd use the laser printer for that and keep any other printers for better quality/colour jobs.

Cheaper to trash / sell the old 4L and get a new printer. A networked Brother HL-2270DW (Duplexing / Wireless) on sale here in Toronto was $99. Cheaper than a toner for my old LJ4000.
