Two questions about screen and black mark

I pressed the back of the lid on my 15" and the screen's colors started to change where I touched it, I don't notice any marks where I touched the screen but I'm worried that I may have damaged the screen so I'm wondering how to make sure I did not.

Also, my MacBook Pro came with a small black mark on the edge of the case next to the power button so I'm wondering how I can clean it. I'm pretty sure it's not a scratch because I was able to clean it partially with a Microfiber but some of it is still stuck on the edge.
