Two questions, will 2x ati radeon HD 4870 work, and ddr3 RAM in 09 Mac Pro work in 08

Hi, I'm wondering what will be the consequences of having two ATI Radeon 4870 HD in my Mac Pro, I heard something about being a lack of cables, I'm also wondering if it will overheat or not, and if I'll have enough power supply from the Mac Pro to support 2?

Also if I have two cards, can programs store memory in the second one as well, as if I had a 1GB card?

I'm also wondering if the DDR3 RAM released with the 2009 Mac Pro model, is compatible with the 2008 Mac Pro model...?

No idea about the first question but RAM from a 2009 Mac Pro won't even fit in the slots in a 2008 model, let alone work.

Yes, the 2006/2008 models use DDR2 FB-DIMMs, while the 2009 models use DDR3 unbuffered DIMMs. Completely different.
