1. Option-key to reveal hidden menus for e.g. items on the menu bar no longer work. In fact, I cannot use the option key to also to customise my Smart Folders (to produce the None category). I created another account and it works there. Why won't it work for my admin account? Suggestions?
2. I had GeekTool on 10.6 but since I installed Lion the script hasn't been working for me. I uninstalled it and downloaded the new version from the Mac Store, but no luck. I then decided to recreate the script using the original instructions but got a Permission Denied when I put in the pathway of the file as instructed. This is perhaps the reason why the tool hasn't been working. I would very much appreciate if anyone on Lion could follow the steps in that link and let me know whether they come across the same issue.
