Two same apps, one is 'dark'

Anyone know how to fix this? Or why it keeps happening?

reboot your phone.

I had the same issue, a reboot removed the dark one.

Sometimes the app maker will decide to abandon an app and completely rebuild with a brand new app. It happened with one of my trading apps - TD Ameritrade, maybe, a couple of years ago. When that happened, the last update to the old app would turn its icon monochrome and the new app would show up in color.
Now, I don't use Snapchat, so I don't know if they recently moved to a new app.

It didnt, but ive had that happen with other apps as well.
Try a reboot. The app may also be stuck installing an update.
