I just received my second studio display (reconditioned) to compliment my 3 year old also reconditioned studio display..
Im disapponted that the tone of the two are different...one (older) is much cooler than the other while being set the same.
When I drill down into the adjustment menu..Apple Pro Display Calibrator do I require a device to use this ?..The Fine-tune Calibration and the Visual Fine-tune buttons are both grayed out...might anyone know of a program available to fine tune the two...this would be great to attempt prior to returning the recently received monitor to attempt a better matched replacement

I had a similar problem when I got my first ASD. I ended up returning it and got another one. You can try using the Color filters in the Accessiblity pane in Settings. If it's too cool to your liking, in the bottom corner, click on the tint color box and play around with the colors to see if you can tune it to your liking.

Thanks..unfortunately the color filters apparently control both screens simultaneously....I just ordered a new monitor...hopefully it will resolve my situation..my ocdc wont accept the slight amount they differ..

Yeah, I’ve read other reports of this. Panel lottery, I suppose. I purchased two at the same time and both have the same color. I then bought a third about 6-7 months later and it too has the same color temperature. So hopefully OP will have success with a replacement.
