Two-Step Apple ID Verification and Outlook 2011

I turned on Apple's two-step verification tonight and immediately noticed that my iCloud account could no longer connect to the server via Outlook 2011 on my MBP. Once I turned the verification off, I got the green connection light again.

Is there a step I am missing to make this work with two-step on, or am I out of luck?

You need to generate an app specific password.

Log in to https://appleid.apple.com
Click Password & Security
Click Generate App-Specific Password

Edit: Then once you have the app specific password, enter that into Outlook.
