HomePod Two stereo pairs paired with iMac

In case anybody is interested, I have 2 stereo pair of Homepods connected to my iMac -- one pair right next to screen, the other across my office about 15' away. Since I can control the volume separately on each pair the result is a really full, nearly quadrophonic sound. The arrangement can be a bit finicky sometimes (that only requires restarting the Music app) but overall I'm totally loving the effect when playing songs from Music and Apple Music. I suppose it may work for the iMac sound itself but I'm not certain and, frankly, don't really care. I think YouTube stuff may play that way but again, don't care about that.
