Two things about the ipod...

One, does anyone know any more specific details about what is happening with the in-store event on May 2. Two, wouldn't it be a good idea if ipod had a function like Avantgo on a Palm where you could download news, sports, entertainment, movie times, so on... You would be able to sync with the internet before you left the house and you would be able to read the news and get movie times and stuff. I believe that this is more than possible with the ipods and wonder why no one has thought of it. This would put the iPods more functionality while still being a dedicated music player.

A program called ephpod for Windows does nearly all that, you can sync news feeds etc, it's great.

i would take a look at icalshare.com it has lots of that stuff, put it in ical, sync it to your ipod with isync.
