perhaps this is a dumb questions, but would there be any performance hit by having a second crappy video card running a second monitor.
My setup is as follows: gtx680 running a 30" monitor, gt120 running a 23" monitor.
The idea is (and was when I was using the 5870) was to maximize the vram on the 30". It's my main work screen plus my gaming screen on both mac and windows. The 23" is pretty much there for extra real estate (finder/browser/itunes etc.)
I'm wondering if the gt120 is sometimes holding back the 680...not that I notice any performance hit...it's miles ahead of my old 5870...but still, wondering.
What do you guys think?
