two way sync with exchange contacts

Hi Guys,

ActiveSync works fine from my server to iphone, however i have noticed if say im in a bar and a chick gives me her number / email it doesn't sync it back to my outlook. i have done some googling and cant find a thing on it. my outlook contacts come down to the phone from exchange ok.

I also have a mobile me account and contacts i add on my phone are always there in my mobile me profile. i wondered if this is a bug, something set up wrong?
