iPhone 14 Pro Two Weeks on…. 14 Pro (not max) battery performance

Can’t see a dedicated thread, apologies if there is one.

How are we all finding the battery on our 14 Pro’s two weeks on from release?

I try not to get bogged down by battery life and just use and enjoy my devices but I won’t certainly am not seeing this extra hour per day. And I’d prob say I get about 1.5h a day less than my 13 pro.

By the time I have about 5hr screen time, I’m down to 30% which IMO, isn’t great at all. I can only put it down to the screen running at a higher brightness when in daylight? None of the app etc seem to be playing up.

My 14 pro didn’t impress me much coming from a 12 mini the first week or so. One of the updates seemed to make it worse. It’s seemed to improve since. I’ve had it fully charged since this morning, and used it plenty and at 85% after 11 hours. I don’t use AOD. I’ve been mostly on WiFi today.

It does charge really fast for me too, so topping it off in a car ride for 15 min here and there makes the battery life thoughtless.

I’ve basically just been charging in the morning when getting ready both the phone and AW ultra and that gets me through the day and to the next morning no problem.

85% after 11hrs? The screen time must be minimal, no?

I found that battery life in my 14 Pro finally settled into a stabile daily amount after the first week. I had a 11 Pro and the same comments back three years ago were all saying the same thing on the 12 Pro's back then. After a 1-2 weeks the batteries then became better along with the updates from Apple
 
Problem with these 200+ response threads is that it feels way too time consuming to catch up and often the discussions stray far from the key points. Don’t mind having a new thread with up to date info at all!

My iPhone 14 pro seems to be roughly the same as my 13 pro was toward the end when it had 90% health left.

Not very impressed. Am considering moving up to a 14 pro max when stock becomes available. Or just dealing with it another year until the 15 ultra is out.

But I think unless the normal size iPhones get a big battery boost next year, as much as I prefer the smaller form factor, I’ll go to the bigger one going forward.

And ya I had the bigger before, had a XS Max and 12 Pro Max before going down to 13 pro and now 14 pro. I feel like the battery life is enough of an issue for me to deal with the trade off of the bigger less convenient size.
