Type of Application Data Saved in Backups

Hi guys,

I see from previous posts that backups save application settings, and a list of applications that was on your phone so they can be reinstalled. Is this correct?

I am specifically wondering if files created by an app are saved in backups as well? This might sound stupid, but I really need some autotune recordings I made with I Am T-Pain (this is TOTALLY a life or death situation..lol) but my phone recently bricked. If I restore with a backup will those come back? Or just the app and settings and not the recordings?

Thanks to anyone who might specifically know.

Although it depends on whether the app provided this, I would assume these files are in the backup. Some apps also store stuff online.
