I was wondering if there was anyway to tell what type of wireless network my MBP is connected to... is there anywhere I can look that will simply tell me it's a Wireless N network or Wireless G network etc.?

And I can't just look at the router to figure it out... I'm in my school's library and I want to know if they really did "upgrades" over the summer.

oh, and fyi, I'm running Snow Leopard.

On Snow Leopard, if you hold down on the option key and then click on the AirPort menu icon it will display the PHY mode, which will identify if the network you are currently connected to is a/b/g or n-speed.
