TIA.

Go to the International pane in System Preferences, and then Input tab. Turn on the input methods you want. Hope you know how to use them. :)

i checked the boxes in the system preferences/international/input but when i go to ms word or adobe illustrator it still does not come out  .

You have to select the correct keyboard input method to enable the correct language. Select it from the menu with the flag.

MS Word requires some preference changes to handle other langugaes, as I recall.
