I went to install a source in Cydia and I made an error when typing. Now every time I go to start Cydia I get an error message saying that it cannot load that source. Only problem is that it's not listed under my sources on the Manage section so that I can remove it. Is there a way to fix this so I don't get that error message?

navigate to /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ and open Cydia.list.

Look for the repo that is throwing the error and remove it

The aforementioned method will work for the time being, but try adding another repo to cydia (a real one) and you will be right back to square 1 with the old error message.

I'm afraid its a little more complicated to remedy for good.

Remove all mentions of the repo in question from these 5 locations or you will get more errors down the road:

/var/lib/apt/lists
/var/lib/apt/lists/partial
/var/lib/cydia/metadata.plist
/etc/apt/sources.list.d
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/cydia.list

The method posted above does work but sometimes it will reshow the error warnings

Just bookmark the file (on ifile) so if it ever happens again, you can always delete it
