Hi! Earlier this week, the folks at Typo Keyboards sent me out their Typo Keyboard Case for iPad Air and Air 2 to review, and I have to say, it is a really nice keyboard case. It used to be extremely pricey, at $189, but a recent price drop puts in in more reasonable territory at $149. The quality, fit and finish of the Typo Keyboard Case are really good. It has a sturdy metal stand which is adjustable to a large variety of angles and the keyboard is magnetically detachable. Pairing is easy, and key action is very good. It really makes your iPad feel like a small laptop. The only thing that is missing is a trackpad--my fingers keep reaching for the non existent trackpad on the keyboard and it is a little irritating :)

It is a very nice keyboard case, but is priced on the high side, I admit :)

I don't like how there is no spacing between the keys. Similar to the Surface Pro keyboard, it makes it easy to mistype.

I still think Logitech makes the best keyboard cases for the iPad.

I'll have to check them out! I've never tried any of the Logitech keyboard cases...

Kind of pricy, but this keyboard case is awesome!

I'm currently on my second and whilst it's a fantastic typing experience (mine is used heavily at work), the Bluetooth disconnects are irritating. iOS 8.4 seems to have marginally improved the experience coupled with the new keyboard, but it still has a moment where it will constantly disconnect from the keyboard and there is no rhyme nor reason to why. At the moment it's not doing it mid typing, which the first keyboard did (and got exchanged), so I can cope with it.
Can't fault the typing experience, I'm fairly close to full size keyboard typing speed and error correction, which is great in meetings as an iPad makes it more personal, i.e. There's not a big laptop screen blocking the conversation between you and the other meeting attendees.

It might be. But for most people, it's not a good deal.
I think they are positioning the Typo as a high-end lifestyle product. I would certainly agree with you that there are many competent Bluetooth keyboard cases for the iPad Air that priced more reasonably. Thanks for reading my review!

FYI, the price on the Typo Keyboard Case just dropped from $189 to $149, making it a much more reasonable choice for many people.
