I was not impressed by Jake. He should have done much better. Mike did as I expected.

Jake chooses well, MMA retirees and old men. I can't hate on him for getting paid, but the one time he fought anyone even close to a real boxer... he lost. Let's see him fight Francis!

Whelp... on to Stipe and Jon Jones tomorrow night. Better get a nap in, LOL.

Tyson and Paul after the fight.

I had a glimmer of hope that we would see a genuine fight with a Tyson triumph, but in the end was just happy to See Mike come out intact.

I will say that Paul earned my respect by clearly allowing Mike to keep his dignity when he could have easily humiliated him in the final round.

Net-net it was a decent night of entertainment with the under cards but Serrano was clearly robbed!

Waste of time for me. Production quality of the entire program I thought was poor. From the audio issues, to the built in commercials, the calling of the matches, seeing Tyson’s nude backside, to Jake’s theatrical entrance, all horrible. And what was the deal with the Axe Spray?

As much as I cannot stand him I am forced to agree. It certainly seems he could have ended the fight if he wanted to.

That being said, I cannot wait for the day he gets flatlined.

The announcers were the worst I have ever heard call a professional sporting event.

Could not agree more, pathetic. My guess is this was simply a cash grab by Netflix to get subs prior to Black Friday where people would normally re-sub at a discount, smart move on their part. It seems very little was invested in the production.

to Jake’s theatrical entrance

Really lame, I thought it had switched to a WWE event.

The fight was never intended to be one where one get's hurt or knocked down/out. It was an exhibition fight, nothing more and those sorts of fights always play out so no one gets hurt, a few punches shown and it either ends in a draw or a win on points. Tommy Fury has no where near the boxing experience of Tyson and yet Fury beat Paul. Even at 58 I believe ANY boxer at that age with the same level of boxing experience as Tyson would have knocked Paul out in the first round but it wasn't a genuine boxing that as it was so obvious to see.

The only people that won that fight was the two boxers with the pay cheque they got. Everyone else, the ringside fans, the pay per viewers and the sponsors were all ripped off in my opinion.

What? Can you back that statement up?

I question your comment because Jake Paul has absolutely knocked out opponents. As I matter of fact didn't the commentators point out several times that Paul has either knocked out or knocked down every single opponent he has faced so far? A couple of those KOs were legit.

What I will acknowledge is that Jake Paul, or his team, are masters at picking the right opponents. I also partially agree with you, but would challenge a little and say any same weight pro boxer under 45 would destroy Jake Paul. 58 is 58, a 31 year age difference accompanied by "ring rust" isn't going to be pretty.

I also agree that everyone got ripped off besides Netflix and the boxers.

Yes I can. The sports writers for the main stream media and many people on social media platforms are all saying the same thing and it has to do with Jake Paul's interview after the match where he said on the last round he could see Tyson tiring but he didn't want to hurt the man so backed off. This then got the boxing world alight with words of 'fix'. Go look at all the mouth Paul gave to Tyson leading up to the match, saying he was going hurt the man, to put him down, to knock him out and come the day, he does nothing. He goes a few rounds and does not hurt the man.

As for Tyson, come on man, he was one of the deadliest boxers in the world and even at 58 are you going to tell me that he lost every bit of his skill as a boxer and could not down a boxer of Jake Pauls extremely limited boxing experience. From memory in all of his fights, Jake has only faced two pro boxers, one he lost, the other he won, all the rest have either been against other social media people and MMA fighters. So, Paul has only faced two actual boxers and people think that is enough experience to go up against Tyson!!?? Even at 58 Tyson should have had enough in him to really hurt Paul and in the last round when Tyson was clearly tiring, Paul could have finished Tyson but he didn't.

If you do not think either man was trying to hurt one another then you was watching a different fight to everyone else because there is a lot of media post out there that take the same view as me.
