U.2/PCIe Hot-Swap Support in Catalina?

ssia pretty sure, but yeah if I put a card in the new mac pro for some u.2 drives will I be able to hot swap?

on pc's it seems besides for server version of Windows and Linux, you have to run hot swap from the BIOS/IPMI
