Hey, can I use an U.S. 85W MagSafe Power Adapter in Australia? I know I'd need a converter for the power outlet, but the voltage is 140 in the US and 250 in Australia.

yes, you can. USA voltage is 120, and AUS is 240. On your adapter it shows it's rated for 100-240, and 50Hz to 60Hz

I'm using a US one in NZ with no issues, just check the print on it (just in case) to ensure that it supports 230 V at 50 Hz and you'll be fine.

If you have an iPod power brick then you can swap the plugs :)

Yes. I have used a US macbook pro power brick in Australia without any issues. You will only need a plug converter... so that it fits in the power port on the wall.
