U3 order shipping updated

Just got bumped up for earlier delivery on my U3 titanium AW.

Originally when ordered, quoted 10/1 - 10/8 delivery.

Received notice from Apple quoting 9/24 - 10/1 delivery

Maybe by next week, they will bump it up to launch day delivery ??

I didn't even realize pre-orders were open before Friday, so I just placed mine today for the Ultra 3 in black and currently has an Oct 3-10 window

The moment the store went live.

Black color has no restrictions and are delivering the 19th - I tried and confirmed.

Titanium case color is being pushed back possibly due to demand or lack of availability....

My order is titanium color.

I ordered as soon as I was awake and at home after surgery; my local Apple Store did not have natural in any band for pick up, only launch day delivery on a couple bands and the rest was into October.

They had black in all bands for launch day pick up so I’m team black.

I cancelled my pre-order and did a new one with a different band (I already have a ton so not concerned with which one I get) and that changed the date to release day 9/19 (was originally early October)

I tried to do that but the titanium case was the holdback.

Tried all the bands but no bueno....

Guess I'll have to wait but after everyone else gets theirs on launch day.

Such a bummer to have to wait after launch day for the U3 and 17 Air this year....

they allocate a certain amount for Best Buy. Probably most people buy from the Apple store so it takes longer. That’s my guess.

I ordered my natural titanium with trail loop band a few hours after the show was over on Tuesday and I am getting Sept 19 delivery. I was actually hoping for in-store pickup, but that's apparently not possible.

My shipping date says 9/25. After my order I checked the configs and it was showing the same config as delivering by launch date. I thought about canceling and reordering but decided to wait it out. I don’t want to wait until the week after launch but AT&T has issues resetting upgrades so I didn’t want to risk it. I’m still expecting it will change to launch day.

One of mine appears to be coming from Tennessee based on UPS MyChoice tracking, so I don't expect movement until Thursday. Nothing on the other one yet so I am guessing coming from China, but who knows.

Based on past history with Mac Mini, AW, and accessories on the West coast, mine will probably ship from either Rialto or Elk Grove, CA via FED-EX.

I do on one of them. They show up on your UPS Mychoice.

Same for me - I have the tracking on MyChoice & it's coming from the hub in Lebanon, TN. The status is 'Label Created, Shipment Ready for UPS'. As stated above, we probably won't see actual movement until Thursday
