UB version of Microsoft Office WHEN?

Do we have any release information for a UB version of Microsoft Office?

Whenever Office 2008 is released (sometime between now and the end of the year).

Nothing as of yet except the canned "second half of 2007" statements. I wouldn't put it past them to delay the release for MacWorld 2008 in January.

Well, to be fair, the release cycle for Office products is about three years, so they're getting to it at the first opportunity. Other major apps have shorter release cycles so they've been able to get theirs out the door more quickly.

They're getting there slowly... a UA of Remote Desktop is coming in 2 weeks and the rest of Office is not *too* far away.
