Hi guys! Just signed up here :)

I was just wondering, when I boot up Ubuntu on my G5, Only half of the screen is shown on my monitor. I have an NVidia GeForce (not sure what model number) with 256mb of VRAM. I have heard of nVidia compatibility issues, but is there a way to fix it? I have searched everywhere, and cannot find anything to do with this problem.

Lubuntu 12.04 for PPC

...should not be ignored.

Also, the PPCluddite says Lubuntu 13.04, Raring Ringtail, is visually pleasing and performing well for him. There are however quite a few issues with bugs in newer releases.
