Hello, anybody succeed in making Ubuntu Linux 18 works with MBP 2017 (13" or 15" with/without TB)? I read that there were some issues such as keyboard and wifi few months ago.

Just for kicks a couple months ago I made a Ubuntu USB key for my 2016 TB MBP and it booted fine. But no wifi, no KB, and no trackpad. I was able to connect a USB mouse and KB and that worked fine, but never could get wifi going.

A couple of days ago I loaded Mint onto an old Panasonic CF-30 and was very surprised that out-of-the-box it had the WiFi working and even the touchscreen worked.

When I'd re-load those CF-30's (had like 50 of them) with Windows it was always a pain in the ass to get the right drivers to get all the things to work on them. That was if I didn't have the re-install DVD from Panasonic on hand.
