Udid faker is it legal to use?

Is using Udid with apps legal. If you were to use it with itransmissions and receive legal notice for misuse in downloading, can the use of Udid faker be criminal?

UDID Faker cannot protect against legal notices caused by the use of iTransmission.

It can be used illegally though.
