I just got my mini and I'm loving it, but I'm not loving the super slow wifi connection.

I'm pulling like 6 megs down off a 25 meg connection. I consistently get 25-26 on my iPad 2, my iMac, and my air... So it doesn't really seem like anything weird on the modem/airport end of things. I've reset all network connections and even done a clean backup install. Still no luck. I've even changed the DNS settings to no avail.

Anyone else noticing really slow speeds on their new mini?
Any thoughts?

You bought a defective iPad mini?

Are you testing all of these with Speedtest.net and sitting in the same spot when you test them?

With the exception of the iMac, yes. Same spot and using speedtest.net

Slow wifi on mini ipad solution

Hey man I had the exact same problem (super slow Internet on my ipad mini) I then updated it to 6.0.1 and now if works fine, hope that helps.

I did update to the latest version. I'm at a total loss here. The ones in the apple store were screaming fast. This thing is painfully slow.

You might try rebooting your modem and then your router. I thought mine was a little slow too but after testing the wifi on my ipad 3, I saw it was slow as well. Rebooted everything and its all good now.

Ok. Fixed. Lol. I feel like a dork. I should have thought of that, but I never have any problems with the airport so I almost forget it's over there.

Thanks.
