UFO-shaped Airport Extreme slows down and needs restart constantly!

My Airport Extreme Dual-Ethernet gets SOOO slow the longer I use it. I just reset it and everything's rather snappy, but by tomorrow it will take eBay a WHOLE MINUTE to respond and begin loading the page!

I have to reset it to get my speed back!

I'm running 5.5.1 because I heard of problems using any later firmware. I've completely reset to defaults and configured it again but it still wanes after a few hours!

I have the same issue with the latest firmware. If I unplug it for a while and plug it back in the issue goes away for longer. But it eventually comes back.

No improvement what-so-ever, even after rolling back firmware.
