Well, I have never figured out how to install UFRaw and get it working on my mac before. I've always just used the PC for that...but, after 2 months of not using the PC, it refuses to turn on. That's fine with me, I never planned on turning it on again, except....I kind of need to turn about two thousand RAW images into .jpgs in the next few days 
I have GIMP installed, but the UFRaw directions, they confuse me. Apparently, I have to "compile" something, and I have to go into somewhere and type all sorts of stuff, after downloading many files from all over the internet, and every tutorial links to tuturials for the other parts I have to download, and almost all of them tell you to skip this or that step for that or the other reason. It's very confusing to someone that knows nothing about Unix.
Can anyone please help me out? Thank you!!!
(it's a Macbook running Tiger, less than a year old. I have X11 installed, obviously, since I'm running GIMP.)
