We are on a family plan and he is the account holder. Can I tell them his SS and still be able to get my phone even though Im not the account holder?

You can have him add you online as an authorized user.

Have your bro authorize you to make changes to the account regarding equipment upgrades, plan upgrades, basically giving you the OK to purchase the 3G iPhone and making changes to the FP...you'll be alright, b/c he can do all of that on the att.com website. Just make sure you are authorized and you have the last 4 of his SSAN...

Thanks for posting this! My dad is the account holder for my number, and I doubt he'd want to stand in line with me on 7/11. I added myself as an authorized user on the AT&T website, and it looks like everything is good to go.
