UH-OH Problem Installing RAM in MacBook

Well the RAM finally got installed, but boy did I have to push hard to get it to pop in. The problem is when I popped the battery back in and used the quarter to turn the little disc thing back into the LOCK position it broke off. It's a cheap little plastic thing. I have only had the thing for a week and have the applecare. I would assume this would be covered?
