Uhh.. just unlocked with Ultrasn0w, stuck on "Searching" now.

iPhone 4.1, jailbroken, but with baseband 1.59.00.

I just ran ultrasn0w and now the phone is stuck on "Searching..." and I have no service.

I have AT&T but unlocked so I could use the phone next week when I go out of the country. Help?

Have you tried rebooting and turning 3G off?

Weird. Switching 3G off then back on fixed it.

Have to agree; if I was dependent on an unlock, no way would I use anything else. When the dev himself for the only unlocking tool out there says don't do it, please wait--and he's not getting paid for this!--I have to figure there's a good technical reason I should wait.

Even if you're not dependent on an unlock, sounds like waiting might make a difference at resale time.

Just my .02; hopefully I'm way off base or we'll have some unhappy folks around here!

Not new bootrom and definitely not iPhone 4. I think he was just vague in his explanation.

The pwnage tool is only available for mac correct? I have a mac but my gf has a pc. Could I jailbreak her phone using my computer once its out and then she could restore her contacts/pics etc, or that is not possible?

I've found that removing the SIM card while the phone is on and putting it right back in gets rid of the 'Searching....' nonsense.

MuscleNerd's tweet is appreciated, but directed at noobs who don't know what they're doing. It's pretty easy for the rest of us to upgrade to 4.1 and preserve our baseband using TinyUmbrella.
