Uhm, does the iPhone really NOT have a timer?

Look in the clock app where you set alarms

lol. yup. this is what i always use my timer on my iphone for.
As the previous posters stated it's the clock app. Too bad they did not see fit to include this simple but effective clock app on the iPad.
There was something on YouTube that showed how to port the Clock App from my Jailbroken iPhone to a Jailbroken iPad. But when I tried it the App would crash.
There is also a sleep Timer. Play something in iTunes, go to Clock > Timer and set a time. For When Timer Ends: select Sleep iPod. I often do it at night with an audiobook.
My 8 year old nephew was able to find it and use it to time his running around the block. Took him about a minute of looking through iPhone.
Let's just stop this here. Anyone who has additional questions about how to use the clock or timer functions on their iPhone can make a new thread on the topic of those questions.
