total newbie to the Mac. I was just wondering that when the Leopard does come out, is there any chance that existing Tiger users can upgrade to the Leopard..hehe..I am not sure...just thought I'd ask!

You can beg, borrow, steal, rent, pirate, etc. a copy to upgrade free. Or, buy a new machine.

But Leopard is a new OS, that Apple will be asking you to buy.

After you buy it, you can ugrade your machine to Leopard.

Probably the same $129 (single) $199 (5 license) that Tiger is set at.

Unless we are lucky and Apple drops it to $99/$149 which isn't as likely as a price increase.
