UI lag a thing of the past with haswell and mavericks?

I'm about to buy a 13" rMBP. Should UI lag be fixed with haswell/iris/mavericks or do you think it will still be there at times? Considering mavericks has more hardware acceleration, opencl, a faster iGPU and a faster processor.

I read a hands on review at the Verge. They said the lag is gone.

i believe even with the 1st gen 13in retina. it was a software issue not hardware issue. most said running mavericks solved the lag when scrolling
