i really hope Apple gives us the ability to decide how to use the button under the crown (friends button). It would be pretty cool if Apple could let use choose what app that opens. Maybe a calander app or fitness app or whatever we want.

I like having Apple app for the double click, but I don't see myself using that friends button so much because I don't even use favorites functionality on the iPhone.

I would have to agree.
I can't see myself using that wheel of friends. I don't have a ton of friends that I stay in contact with enough to justify a button being solely for a quick list of them. Aw well, I see what they were trying to do and it probably will be great for the majority.
