iOS UIActivityIndicator

HI ALL

i am using UIActivityindicator, i have defined in.h file and using as synthesize
and also placed in IBOutlet connected through file ownrs
and i am calling start animating in tableView didselectrow
but it not starting animating please help

could it be because it's covered by another view, e.g. your table view, and you cant see it?
