iOS UIDatePicker - Starting an instance in IB

Hey guys,

Can someone help me figure out how to populate an instance of an NSDatePicker with the mode of UIDatePickerModeCountDownTimer?

I keep dragging it from the library into Interface Builder, but it the app crashes on startup..am I missing a delegate somewhere?
