Hi all,

I can't find anything like an 'editingStyleEdit' for a tableview.
I would like to click a button, that will change the style of the tableview, with a nice icon for saying 'edit this record'.

Only thing I have / can find, is Add and Delete. These are very fine tho! But I also need an edit option.

The typical way to handle this is to drill down from the tableview and then allow the user to edit on the detail view. See, for example, the Contacts app.

Hi dejo, indeed this is the way I'm doing it now, what I'd like to do is.. ehm... longpress on a cell or swipe so it will show an edit icon.

Is this possible?

Yes, it's possible. But is it desirable? Is there a reason to expect the user to use an edit approach that they are unfamiliar with and, perhaps, contradicts how they would expect to delete a row?

Hmmm yes, you got some points there. I'll just stick by this then :)
Thanks for the feedback!!!
