iOS UITableView or UIView for editable detail view?

It is maybe too late to ask such question! Which view is better to be a editable detail view UITableView or UIView?

Most of apps in AppStore use UITableview as editable detail view, I am not sure if this is a better choice, does anyone give me some suggestion?

When I add a new data, I hope it can be editable...
