iOS UITextView canceling autocorrection problem

I'm having a problem with spelling autocorrection in a UITextView.
My problem is that when the autocorrection is dismissed (clicking the X) the text view becomes highlighted (turns blue) and becomes unresponsive.

I think that I'm not properly handling an event, but I couldn't find what event I need to process.

Please help.
