UK: Anyone know anything about PPE/SPS?

This might be a long shot, but does anyone out there know anything about the Oxbridge PPE and SPS courses? I'm trying to get a balanced view on the strengths and weaknesses of each, and it's proving harder than expected. Needless to say, everyone from oxford I speak to rates PPE, and the reverse is true of those studying SPS.

Even if you only know a relative who was married to a person who knows a dog who once chewed a page off of an SPS graduate's notebook, any info would be really useful.

^ Yeah, thought that was a long shot.

It's just so hard to get balanced appraisals of individual uni courses... All there are to go by are shiny prospectuses and open days, where everyone tells you their course is the best .
