Hi all

I purchased an iPad2 on Friday that I intended to use to replace my iPad1

I have yet to open it as I am in two minds as to whether there will be a noticeable difference to warrant the upgrade (I will say that I have found iPad 1 to be a lot slower and unresponsive with the last few software updates and I have had it replaced already at the Genius Bar)

It is the exact same spec (64GB Wi-Fi)

When I was in the store on Friday I asked one of the dtaff about their returns procedure if I was inhappy and I was told that I had 14 days to change my mind as they wanted to make sure I was hppy with my purchase, when I asked if it could be opened or it had to be sealed I was told that it would noyt matter and there would be no restocking fee if it has been opened

Was I told correctly, has anyone used this process before (BTW I am in the UK)

Cheers

Nick

A little hard to be happy with your purchase if you hadn't opened the box:D Apple will of course accept it back, but when you have tried it, you won't want to take it back.

I've been playing with a colleagues iPad 2 today and it is faster but not by much, so can I return it if I had opened it within the 14 days??

But This Begs The Question

Why did you bother in the first place? I doubt you have given your freinds ipad2 a real test....The 2 is a lot faster and smoother than the ipad1 it has a faster CPU, better cameras, and is a lot better in design, without the hump in the back.

Seems to me you could have tried one out at the store....Apple may charge you a re- stocking fee when you return it though.

Not by much?

It rips the iPhone 4s to bits and every other tablet/phone on benchmarks.

Some people will never be happy.

I upgraded and am delighted with the iPad 2
