UK Apple Watch does blood oxygen sensor work in US?

If I purchase an Ultra 2 during a coming trip to the UK and activate it with a US Apple ID, will I have the blood oxygen app? Will it work when I’m physically back in the US? And finally will I be able to activate cellular service on a US carrier? Thanks.

Yes, it should work. The ban is on Apple importing a working sensor into the US. There's no reason for Apple to disable sensors already in customer's hands.
