Hi all,
Argos (in the UK) have started stocking iPads now. my girlfriend's offered to get me one for xmas so looking at the 16gb wifi version.
Now, Argos has a £5 off every £100 gift vouchers bought.. So i was thinking buy 4 lots of £100 gift vouchers and get £20 off.. will this work?
this should bring the price down to £409 for the iPad

has anyone taken advantage of this like this?

If Argos are offering a fiver off every £100 of gift vouchers bought then yes, buying £400 of gift vouchers should cost you £380. Add the remaining £29 and that's £409 total. This will work just fine unless there's small print saying you're not allowed to buy more than a certain amount of vouchers.

thanks. i'll check with argos.
found a similar offer for pc world/comet but they have 7% which is better. thing is, vouchers will get mailed to me at a cost of £5 :(
