Thought I would start a thread specially for CPWH preorders and I've got a bad feeling about Yodal, and how my order will play out.
Not really sure what is happening with this to be honest.
I called on the evening of the first preorders. Paid £29 pounds to secure a priority place and then completed my order as soon as CPWH had updated their site to say they had prices for the 64gb iPhone.
No confirmation email, no order number, nothing. Anyway called them two ago to be told I am likely to get it on launch day because I put a deposit down for their VIP service.
Then others who ordered in the last few days (way after me) start getting confirmation emails, so I chase mine and get a Yodal tracking number that tells me due to huge demand delivery might be delayed 3 or 4 days (anyone else had this?).
Now it has started tracking, but is stuck at the first location and doesn't seem to be tracking anymore since last night.
So if other CPWH customers who ordered only a few days ago, get their phones before those of us that preordered and paid a non refundable deposit - that will be a massive screw up by CPWH.
More importantly they will be in breach of several rules of false advertising their VIP service with advertising standards in the UK. I would suggest anyone effected makes sure they complain about them, as the advertising standards council take a very dim view of this kind of stuff..,,
Who knows maybe we'll get it today....but CPWH should be made to explain what their VIP service is if it doesn't seem to effect your place in their cue.
