Just wondering what the typical prices are for a new iPhone model at launch. I'll be getting the 5S on 3 if I can for hopefully £30-33 a month and a £100ish upfront? Or am I too optimistic

Best way is to look at current devices. The iPhone 5 on Three starts at £31 with £29 upfront and the Samsung GS4 starts at £33 a month with no upfront cost so what you want to pay will likely be possible as long as you don't want more storage.

At the iPhone 5 launch last year I got a 16GB black iPhone 5 for £34 a month on 3 with £89 upfront. That is for 500 minutes, 5000 texts and AYCE data. Expect similar prices for a new phone

It isn't worth getting a phone on a contract with a data limit now. I'm very happy with them. 3's network is amazing and they're launching 4G very soon for what is, basically, a free upgrade

Just the 16GB for a 2 year contract so it shouldn't be so bad. thanks

Yeah - Also how long did it take you to get it? I hear it can be weeks

I ordered it a week before launch and I had it on day one. It arrived via courier at 9.30 on launch day. 5 minutes later it was set up, activated, and working on their network:D I was surprised but very impressed as it was my first time with 3
