did you get one ordered for release day???? anyone in the uk

No, I ordered a 32GB white at 8:02 and it was on 2 weeks. I think there's a shortage worldwide, with the UK not receiving any of the initial allotment.

I'd like to know this too. I placed an order for a 32GB white iPad Mini (through the iPhone app) at 8:05 and it was 2 weeks.

Nope. Looks like it was just the US who had any danger of getting them delivered on launch day. May need a trip to my local Apple Store next Friday after all.

No, had the iphone app open at 8:00 exactly (my confirmation email is 08:01) and all sizes of white were showing as 2 weeks.

I feel your pain, I so wanted a white iPhone then waited for store to open, bam nothing but black, broke my heart.Took a long time for the white to be made right.
