Just want to see if those shipped to UK also have this issue...if so, i'm seriously considering not collecting my reserved 16gb from regent st later today.

Hoping it's an ATT and/or USA batch issue...but i reckon it isn't...

:-(

yes.

if you do make sure you make the antenna join on the left hand bottom side only as described on front page.

I do have my bumper case though.

Screen does not seem to have yellow tint issue.

:D

i think i will buy my reserve today....

i won't buy a bumper yet as apple may offer a freebie to everyone due to this issue and i guess i can return it if they do a recall which if it is a hardware issue they will have to do.

however i'm beginning to think that somehow it's more to do with iOS4 because quite a few people are stating that they are replicating this issue with their other iPhones...

anyway, at the store, i will pull it out, get it activated and pop my sim inside. the main thing is that i don't want a yellow screen - if it has one, i will ask for a swap there and then. if it has the antenna issue guess i will live with it...for now....

Yes, it does.

Simply touching the metal antennae doesn't affect it.
Touching the bottom left isolator *does* reduce the signal to 1 bar.
Touching the top isolator *does not* reduce the signal.

The last point leads me to suspect a manufacturing default in a batch rather than inherent design flaw...we'll see.

Same with mine, place thumb over it and signal drops

Yeah, i've got the problem. Tested with orange and three sim. What concerns me even more is that it occurs even with my bumper (although not as bad)
